Say what is true
Including when the honest answer is that a client does not need us, that a requirement is not worth the money, or that a deadline will not be met. We would rather lose a project than manage someone's expectations dishonestly.
About us
OceanAstra was founded to close a specific gap: the distance between enterprise software as it is sold and enterprise software as it is actually used.
The companies that keep this region moving — vehicle traders, fit-out contractors, distributors, logistics operators — run on operating models that are genuinely sophisticated. Their software rarely reflects that. It is either a global platform that assumes a business they are not, or a local system that stopped being developed years ago.
OceanAstra was set up by people who have implemented enterprise systems on both sides of that gap: inside large organisations where the system is inherited, and inside vendors where the system is sold. We started the company to do the part that neither side does well — build or select software that fits the business, and stay accountable for it afterwards.
We work across three lines: vertical ERP we build ourselves, enterprise platforms we select and support on our clients' behalf, and CorpOS, our own research programme into how AI changes the shape of enterprise management. The three inform each other. What we learn implementing other people's software shapes what we build; what we build shapes what we are willing to recommend.

A shorter system that matches how the business runs beats a comprehensive one that nobody opens. We measure a project by whether the work moved into the system, not by the size of the module list.
The value of an enterprise system is created in the two years after launch, not in the launch. Support, iteration and training are part of the engagement, not an upsell.
